I am the founder of Life Saving Education. I am also an active firefighter, paramedic, and registered nurse. Everything we teach comes from real calls, real patients, and real worksites, not just a slide deck. That has always been the difference at LSE, and it is not changing. What is changing is our reach.
Life Saving Education is based in Washington, DC, and we deliver hands-on safety and medical training throughout the DMV and up and down the East Coast. This post covers who we are, what we teach, and exactly where we can bring training to you.

Our home base is Washington, DC, which means the fastest scheduling, the most flexible availability, and the lowest travel costs are right here in the DMV.

We provide CPR training in Washington, DC along with BLS, ACLS, PALS, first aid, OSHA 10 and 30, HAZWOPER, confined-space training, and customized workplace-safety programs for healthcare organizations, contractors, schools, government-related organizations, and private groups across all quadrants of the District.

What We Teach
Life Saving Education supports a broad range of medical, EMS, emergency-readiness, and workplace-safety education, including:
- American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, PALS, Heartsaver CPR AED, and first aid
- Classroom and blended-learning formats where permitted by the issuing organization
- OSHA 10-Hour and OSHA 30-Hour training
- HAZWOPER 40-Hour, 24-Hour, and 8-Hour annual refresher training
- Confined-space awareness, entry, attendant, supervisor, and rescue training

Training can be delivered at your facility, arranged for a private group, or scheduled through an available public class. Depending on the course, formats include classroom, hands-on, blended-learning, and scenario-based training.
Course availability can differ by jurisdiction, employer, contract, licensing requirement, and issuing organization. Verify the exact course, format, completion document, and approval needed before registration.

For long-distance programs, availability may depend on class size, number of training days, instructor travel, equipment transport, facility access, and whether multiple courses can be scheduled during the same trip.
Massachusetts OEMS-Approved EMS Continuing Education
Life Saving Education offers Massachusetts Office of Emergency Medical Services-approved continuing education for personnel at all three current Massachusetts EMS certification levels: EMT, Advanced EMT, and Paramedic.
This offering is continuing education for already-certified EMS personnel. It should not be confused with an initial EMT, Advanced EMT, or Paramedic certification program. Initial certification programs must be conducted through a Massachusetts DPH-accredited training institution at the applicable level.
For continuing education used toward Massachusetts recertification, the course must carry the applicable OEMS approval or registration number issued by OEMS or a Regional EMS Office. The specific approval number, eligible continuing-education hours, delivery format, and participant requirements will be identified in the course announcement or completion documentation. Participants should retain their course completion certificate or roster documentation for their records.
Onsite Training Built Around Your Organization
Onsite training reduces employee travel, lets teams train together, and connects the course to your actual work environment. A typical group-training request should include:

Check the class schedule for upcoming courses or contact us with your name and approximate certification date. AHA certifications are typically valid for two years.
Is your Massachusetts EMS education approved by OEMS?
Life Saving Education offers Massachusetts OEMS-approved continuing education for EMT, Advanced EMT, and Paramedic personnel. Each course announcement or completion document identifies the applicable approval or registration number and eligible hours.
