North Carolina has been adding employers faster than most states, and a lot of those employers are building safety programs from scratch. A growing company that has never had a designated first-aid responder, an emergency action plan, or an AED program is not being careless. It just outgrew the stage where those things happened informally. Life Saving Education helps Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, and Charlotte employers build workplace emergency readiness, with CPR, AED, first aid, OSHA, and customized training delivered onsite.

Starting a Safety Program From Zero
If you are the person who got handed “figure out our safety training,” here is the practical order most organizations follow:
- Decide who responds. Identify a realistic number of trained responders per floor, shift, or building
- Certify them in CPR, AED, and first aid. This is the foundation everything else sits on
- Place and maintain AEDs. Equipment nobody can find or nobody is trained on does not help
- Add compliance training as required. OSHA 10 or 30 where the work warrants it, HAZWOPER where exposure exists
- Set a renewal calendar. Certify as a group so expiration dates stay aligned
We can help you map which of these apply to your operation before you spend anything on training you may not need.

Frequently Asked Questions
We have never done safety training before. Where do we start?
Tell us your headcount, what your people actually do, and any requirements a client or insurer has given you. We will tell you what is genuinely required versus optional before you commit to anything.
How many employees should be CPR certified?
There is no single number that fits every workplace. It depends on headcount, shifts, building layout, and how quickly EMS can reach you. We can help you think through a realistic target for your site.
Do you travel to the Carolinas regularly?
We schedule dedicated trips. Longer-distance programs work best when class size or multiple stacked courses justify the travel, so tell us everything you might need and we will build one efficient visit.
Can you train at a corporate campus with multiple buildings?
Yes. Multi-session and multi-building scheduling is common for larger employers. Include building count and total headcount in your request.
