The American Heart Association ACLS Provider course develops advanced skills for recognizing and managing adult cardiac arrest, peri-arrest conditions, stroke, and other cardiopulmonary emergencies. Training emphasizes high-quality BLS, effective team dynamics, and timely evidence-based interventions.

Your Instructors
Life Saving Education courses are taught by a team of experienced instructors. Every LSE instructor is at least a paramedic with teaching experience, and many bring additional firefighter, clinical, technical-rescue, or occupational-safety backgrounds. The assigned instructor may vary by course, location, and specialty.

Use of these materials in an educational course does not represent course sponsorship by the American Heart Association. Completion Documents
Completion documents are issued by the applicable certifying organization after all attendance, skills, testing, and administrative requirements are met. A generic site certificate is never a substitute for an official course completion card or eCard. The organization imposing your training requirement decides what it will accept; verify the required course and completion document before registering.

Choose Your ACLS Format
Life Saving Education offers ACLS three ways so you can match training to your schedule and certification needs.
ACLS Initial
Full instructor-led classroom course for first-time ACLS certification. Simulated clinical scenarios and hands-on learning stations.
ACLS Renewal
For providers with a current or recently expired ACLS card who need to recertify. Instructor-led, streamlined for renewing students.
HeartCode ACLS (Blended)
Complete the AHA HeartCode ACLS online portion on your own, then book an in-person skills session with our instructor. A current BLS card is required to attend.
All formats teach the same American Heart Association science and lead to the same AHA course completion card (eCard), valid for two years. HeartCode blended learning has you complete the AHA online portion first (purchased separately, at your own pace), then finish with an in-person hands-on skills session with our AHA instructor. Your card is issued after both parts are complete.
