IN-PERSON INSTRUCTOR COURSE: This registration is for the in-person AHA BLS instructor-development course component. Other required pathway steps, including online learning and monitored teaching, are completed separately as required.

This offering supports the AHA BLS instructor pathway, which includes Training Center acceptance, required online learning, an in-person instructor course, monitored teaching, and alignment. Course attendance alone does not create instructor status.
Become an AHA BLS Instructor. $349 per candidate for the AHA instructor pathway with an in-person Instructor Essentials hands-on session. Candidates must be accepted by an AHA Training Center. Serving the Washington, DC region and other East Coast service areas.

Your Instructors
Life Saving Education courses are taught by a team of experienced instructors. Every LSE instructor is at least a paramedic with teaching experience, and many bring additional firefighter, clinical, technical-rescue, or occupational-safety backgrounds. The assigned instructor may vary by course, location, and specialty.

Completion Documents
Completion documents are issued by the applicable certifying organization after all attendance, skills, testing, and administrative requirements are met. A generic site certificate is never a substitute for an official course completion card or eCard. The organization imposing your training requirement decides what it will accept; verify the required course and completion document before registering.
